Privacy
RealMuslim does not create an account and does not ask for a name, phone number or email to read the site. If the browser shares a location, it is used on that device to pick the nearest published city and is not uploaded. This note is written for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What stays on the device
The keys are rm-lang for the language, rm-theme for light or dark, rm-text for larger text, rm-madhab for the Asr school, rm-offset for masjid minutes, and rm-city for the saved city. You can clear them in the browser.
What is optional
Analytics are off unless a Plausible or GA4 identifier is set in the environment, and then only with consent. Ads load only when a public AdSense client id is set, and not on dua, story, or sensitive pages. There is no push notification unless a real VAPID key is configured.
